“David Markowitz gave private flute lessons to my daughter…from the time she was in fifth grade until her graduation from high school. He is a talented flutist whose gorgeous tone and artistry inspired my daughter to challenge herself to reach for a high level of musicianship.” — C. Ishiguro, 2014
“David has taught my daughter as well as several of my former students…. I am always impressed by his patience, thoughtfulness, kindness, and ability to adapt to each student’s individual needs.” — Galina Zisk Rothschild, 2026
